The TLD series is adaptable enough that its ideal for light to medium tackle game fishing but as well as this can also be cast. This means the TLD overhead series are ideal reels for use on small marlin and sails, mackerel, wahoo, yellowtail kingfish, yellowfin tuna and albacore, greenback tailor and cobia as well as reef-fish like snapper, cod, red emperor and sweetlip. All TLDs are fitted with one-piece graphite/titanium bodies, four A-RB bearings, stainless steel gears and main shaft, stainless steel reel foot, ball bearing titanium drags, and ultra-comfortable, easy to grasp power handles. The Shimano TLD Series comes in three sizes: 15, 20 and 25.
