This amplified two way feedback loop, due to Sage’s all new Revolution-8 Technology and Axial Fiber formulation, allows you to feel when the power needs to be applied throughout the cast, presentation, and when applying appropriate pressure to the fish ultimately giving you complete control.

Sage had maximum versatility in mind when designing R8. This series will cover a multitude of species both fresh and saltwater. Gorgeous Silver-Pine colored blanks are equipped with Fuji ceramic stripping guides with hard chrome snake guides and tip-top.

3wt thru 6wt feature an anodized aluminum up-locking reelseat with sustainable Ziricote wood insert and a premium flor grade snub-nose half-wells cork handle.

5wt-FB thru 9wt have a corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum reel seat with integrated hidden hook keeper and EVA fighting-butt with premium Flor grade full-wells cork handle. Black rod bag with new cord lock for quicker, easier, and cleaner storage. Aluminum rod tube with Sage medallion.
