Description of the GRAPPLER LIGHT JIG CAST rod:

The Shimano Grappler offshore rod range offers specific models for jigging and spinning . The blanks are enhanced with Shimano Spiral X and HI-POWER X technologies that ensure incredible strength and performance, eliminating twisting in the blank when casting, jigging or fighting a fish.

Eight different models are dedicated to jigging: specialized Slow Jigging and Light Jigging models to cover all the needs of the modern angler. Fuji DPS and T-DPS reel seats on Jigging and Slow Jigging models, Shimano CI4 + Perfection Seat and Multi Palming Touch for maximum sensitivity on Light Jig models.

The four models are specific for spinning and popping: from the shortest 7’3″, perfect for casting pencil lures up to 80 grams, to the longest 8’2″ capable of casting up to 150 grams. They are mounted with the Fuji Alconite + SiC ring with a stainless steel frame.
