Despite the trends for going shorter on all things in the two-hand world, there will always be a place for full length rods. By using their years of spey rod development experience along with the expertise of spey casting champion Mariusz Wrobewski, Echo produced their most advanced spey rods ever. Spey lines have evolved since they hit the mainstream, yet the rods have remained largely the same. So Echo started from scratch to find the ideal flex and length to most effectively fish todays most popular types of two-hand lines. As part of the greater family of new spey rods (Full Spey, Compact Spey, Trout Spey), these new rods are dialed for how todays anglers fish their two hand rods. The Full Spey comes in a standard 13 length in 6wt, 7wt and 8wt perfect for bigger water situations.
