The Crazy Stick is a walker with a rattle that emits a loud sound. Its profile allows for the zig-zag animation known as “walking the dog”. Perfectly balanced, it is used with short, stealthy pauses to excite predators. Longer pauses can also be made between each jerk so that the lure makes longer slides to the sides. This last animation usually works very well with distrustful large carnivores.

The Crazy Stick is thrown far and its caudal fins stabilize it both when casting and when swimming. The lure’s low waterline and tail fins provide stability even in rough water. The deep sound helps to arouse the attention of predators at great distances.
