The Emblem 35 type R is a high quality surfcasting reel designed to meet the needs of the most passionate anglers. Daiwa teams have carried out field research on all the coasts of the Iberian Peninsula to ensure that this reel is perfectly suited to the needs of anglers.

To make sure the reel is waterproof Daiwa has used MagSealed oil. The reel comes with two extra spools, which means you have a total of three spools to deal with any possible situation. To ensure the reel adapts to different fishing conditions, anglers can opt for a strong nylon for harsh conditions, or a finer nylon for longer casting distance.

The new Emblem Type-R has a capacity of 300 meters of 18/100, which limits the risks of entanglement. In addition, Daiwa has developed a new oscillation system called Slow Cross Wrap, which reduces tangling and improves nylon placement on the spool. This allows the line to come off the spool perfectly during the cast, allowing the angler to set their sinker at a greater distance.

The reel also features a Quick Drag brake and a solid build with a DS4 polycarbonate frame and rotor. It has a total of 6+1 bearings for smooth and reliable performance. The folding aluminum crank fits perfectly in the angler’s hand for a comfortable and secure grip.
