Daiwa 22 Infeet SK Spin Rod
INFEET SK series offers anglers some new actions with Fujis popular SK (Skeleton) reel seat configuration and is a testament to Daiwas commitment to the light tackle angling community. Apart from the obvious change of reel seat configuration, INFEET SK also boasts some other interesting features most notably a combination guide train of a Fuji Titanium SiC stripper guide followed by a near-full set of Daiwas AGS carbon fibre guides. AGS guides are lighter than Titanium and give INFEET SK unmatched responsiveness and sensitivity in the hand.
HVF Nanoplus graphite has been combined with X45X Full Shield technology to eliminate blank twist which results in rods which cast insanely well for their size and feel crisp and responsive when casting or working lures. As with all INFEET rods, a distinct red and blue colourway is used to designate the action of the rods, with fast action rods boasting red highlights while moderate or regular action rods are adorned with blue. For INFEET SK, there is two of each model available in both light and ultralight actions to cover the gamut of light-tackle techniques.
Best Application Per Model
6102LFS A rod purposely designed to twitch hardbodies for black bream. No one can deny the adrenaline of getting slammed on a suspending jerkbait. The fast taper and shorter length make this rod perfect for tip down precise movements of small hardbodies. It also is a great option for topwater lures or for skip casting soft plastics.
702ULRS The rod designed around the INFEET KODACHI lure. Small ultra-light lures require ultra-light rods. The SK 702ULRS is perfect for fishing small hardbodies like the KODACHI around boat hulls, bridges or flats. The soft taper keeps those small trebles pinned.
722LRS A heavier light rated crankbait rod, this is the rod for larger crankbaits like the SPIKE range or when cranking around nasty structure like breakwalls, seaway wash zones or snag-laden flats like the mouth of the Tambo.
732ULFS Purposely designed to fish a metal vibe, the 732ULFS is a lighter version of the popular 732LFS. So, the same great taper, just in an ultra-light power. This makes it an excellent blade rod and Steve Morgan has also fell in love with this model for Bent Minnows.
681L-FS – The 681L+FS is purpose-built for tight cover situations, such as oyster rack fishing. It offers the precision needed to control lures in tight spaces. With extra backbone, its designed to quickly muscle bream out of structure. Perfect for skip casting soft plastics along the racks, the 681L+FS delivers a powerful and sensitive performance for challenging environments.
722LFS – The 722LFS is designed as the faster model in the 722 lineup, making it the ideal all-rounder rod. With a 7’2″ length and light, fast taper, it offers enhanced responsiveness and versatility across various techniques. Perfect for targeting bream in different environments, whether youre skip casting soft plastics, working crankbaits, or handling topwater lures, the 722LFS delivers the balance of power and sensitivity needed for consistent performance.
